 Tour Programme of Kailash Mansrover Day 1:
Fly from Delhi and Arrival at Kathmandu. We will receive you at airport. Check into Hotel on full board basis.
Day 2:
Half day Sight Seeing in Kathmandu including Pashupatinath, Bhudhanikantha and Swayanbhunath Darshan.
Day 3:
Drive Kathmandu – Nyalam (115 Km) we depart at 5.00 am from our Hotel to the Nepal- Tibet border along the famous Arankiko Highway. Stopping for a quick breakfast at Dhulikhel and lunch at Kodari. After immigration and customs formalities on both sides (Kodari and Zhangmu) we drive to the small town - Nyalam (3700mt. High).
Day 4:
Rest day for altitude acclimatization. All meals, overnight stay at same lodge at Nyalam.
Day 5:
After breakfast Drive to Saga – (250kms-4500m High) Enjoy grand view of Mt. Shishapangma (8021mt High) Gauri Shankar and other high mountains from Lalugla Pass (5050mt.high) packed lunch will be served at a sacred lake Pigusto, Overnight lodge in Saga.
Day 6:
After breakfast drive to Prayang (225km) across the vast Tibetan Plateau. Packed Lunch will be served on the way, overnight stay in Lodge.
Day 7:
Prayang – Lake Manasarovar, Very auspicious day for all yatries who will have first glimpse of Holy Manas and Darshan of Mt. Kailash from Horrchu Pass. Overnight stay camp/Lodge at the shore of lake Mansarovar.
Day 8:
Till 2 pm free for Pooja and Hawan, Drive to Darchen (4750m High) thru Mansarovar parikrama. Overnight at lodge.
Day 9:
Parikarma/Kora begins drive 8 kms to Tarboche and trek up to Diraphuk gompa. Pack lunch will be served on the way and dinner and overnight stay at Camping.
Day 10:
Trek to Zuthulphuk Gompa – Parikarma continues, this is the day every pilgrims talks about, the most difficult journey through out the Yatra, Trek up to Dolma La pass (5600m) We will offer very short prayers at Dolmala and move towards Gaurikunda. The programmed in the same as usual, lunch on the way and dinner at the camp, Zuthulphuk Gompa.
Day 11:
Zuthulphuk – Darchen – Horr After Breakfast, We will trek around 10 kms. We will be reaching at the point, where our jeeps will be waiting to drive us to Darchen, Parikarma ends. After Lunch we will drive to Siralung Zangpo at the Shore of Manas.Stay at Lodge.
Day 12:
Drive back to Prayang, we return the same route we have traveled and same procedure will be followed for meals and accommodation as before.
Day 13: Drive back to Saga.
Day 14: Drive back to Nyalam.
Day 15: Kathmandu via Kodari & Zhangmu, Overnight in Hotel.
Day 16: Departure to Onward Destination / Delhi by Air.
The cost includes :
Air fare from Bombay/Delhi to Kathmandu and return, 4 stars Hotel on twin sharing with all meals (veg.) at Kathmandu. Mostly, best available lodge with all meals at Tibet. During Parikrama – Tent & sleeping bag, 4 pax in each Toyota Land Cruiser (4500), Driver, guide, Sherpas, cook, Chinese visa, Tibet permits, Monasteries fee, Oxygen etc.
The cost does not include :
All expenditure of personal nature bar bills, airport departure tax, extra expenses in case of land slides, road blockage, flight/Helicopter cancellation or delay. Horse to ride and porter charges during Kailash Parikrama only. Cost increase due to bad weather, Nepal visa fee for Passport Holder other then Indian if needed, emergency rescue, Urgent Visa fees if necessary, Insurance, clothing & accessories etc.
Requirement at the time of booking:
· Form to be filled.
· Photocopy of Passport.
· (INR) Rs. 10,000/- at the time of booking. Balance money to be paid one month before departure date.
Document required at the time of departure:
· Original Passport.
· Fitness Certificates from Doctor mentioning that you are fit to travel on 19,000 ft altitude.
· 4 passport size photo.
